About the Society

We are Cebuano-speaking Roman Catholic men and women, of various ages but mostly youth and mid-age, who desire to worship God, through the Sacred Liturgy reverently and properly celebrated by sacred ministers in full communion with Rome.

We have deep affection for the centuries-old form of celebrating Mass known as the Extraordinary Form (popularly known as the Traditional Latin Mass) and we yearn to kindle in others the love and esteem that parallel, or even surpass, our own for this ancient Liturgy.  The Extraordinary Form Masses that our group organizes are offered in accordance with Pope Benedict XVI’s motu proprio Apostolic Letter Summorum Pontificum and the subsequent instruction Universæ Ecclesiæ issued by the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei.

We desire to worship also according to the Ordinary Form  of the Mass (Novus Ordo Missæ) celebrated reverently, properly, in Latin, ad orientem, and in accordance with the General Instruction of the Roman Missal, as well as in line with the instructions and principles that the Fathers of the Second Vatican Council (Vatican II) decreed in Sacrosanctum Concilium, the Council’s Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy.

We commit ourselves to personal and collective sanctification by singing Christ’s and His Church’s song of praise to the Father through the daily individual, or communal where possible, praying of the Divine Office either in the Extraordinary Form (i.e., the Roman Breviary) or the Ordinary Form (the Liturgy of the Hours).

Lastly, we long to restore, preserve, and promote Holy Mother Church’s most precious treasure — Gregorian chant — in both the Ordinary and Extraordinary Forms of the Roman Rite.  ∗∗∗
