(UPDATED SKED) Triple Extraordinary Form Masses for March

(NOTE: Post updated with revised Mass schedule for March 22.)  Three successive Extraordinary Form Masses (a.k.a. the Traditional Latin Mass) are scheduled to be offered on March 20 to 22, 2017 at the Archdiocesan Shrine of Mother Thrice Admirable Queen and Vicaress of Schoenstatt (or Schoenstatt Shrine for short) in Lawaan III, Talisay City, Cebu.

We invite all faithful Roman Catholics in full communion with Rome to assist (i.e., to participate actively/actually, fully, and consciously) at these Masses.

The Masses for the three days are as follows:

  • March 20 (8:30 A.M.) — Sung Mass (Missa cantata) of the Feast of Saint Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
  • March 21 (8:30 A.M.) — Read Mass (Missa lecta) of the Tuesday within the Third Week of Lent.
  • March 22 (6:00 A.M.) — Sung Mass (Missa cantata) of the Wednesday within the Third Week of Lent.

If you intend to receive Holy Communion, please ensure that you are free from grave (mortal) sin by going to Confession beforehand, and fast at least one (1) hour before Communion.

Schoenstatt Shrine is accessible to both private and public transport. Tricycles and habal-habal bikes are available at the corner of Jetti gasoline station in Lawaan III.  This gasoline station is between Starmall Talisay and Robinsons Supermarket (Lawaan branch).  The Google Map below shows the location of Schoenstatt Shrine (marked with a red heart):
